1 Reason

WFilter can not send packets via the blocking adapter.

2 Solution

In pass-by deployment, WFilter needs to send RST packets on the blocking adapter to terminate connections. However, some switches do not allow outgoing traffic on the mirroring port.

In this case, you need to add another NIC for blocking and communication. If your monitored devices number is more than 50, you're also recommended to use a separate blocking adapter.

Please check: When shall you use two network adapters in the WFilter server?
