Local Port Mirroring Commands in Brocade switch
The following example configures the switch to mirror all packets from port 6 to 5:
Console(config)#interface ethernet 1/5 Console(config-if)#port monitor ethernet 1/6 both Console(config-if)#
Check mirroring status:
Console#show port mirror Port Mirroring --------------------------------------------- Destionation Port (listen port): Eth1/5 Source Port (monitored port) : Eth1/6 Mode : Rx/Tx Console#
In this example, the WFilter pc shall be connected to port Eth1/5, while port Eth1/6 is connected to the gateway. So WFilter can monitor all internet traffic.
